CRYOSTAGE FREEZING STAGE

The Cryostage freezing stage is a refrigerated design for use as a specimen freezer and object holder, primarily for use with the 8000 sledge microtome, however, it can be used with other sledge microtomes.
The refrigerated stage gives a large working area of 130 x 90mm and the surface is ridged to provide good adhesion between the specimen and the stage when using tissue embedding compound. The Cryostage also incorporates a heater to allow easy removal of the specimen debris after it has been sectioned.
